Terms of Service

FamilyBox provides shared task boards, calendars, routines, journals, shopping lists, and related tools for a family workspace. Features may change, improve, or be removed over time as the product evolves.

You need a valid email address to sign in. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for only inviting people you trust into your family workspace — workspace members can see the content shared within it.

Everything you add to FamilyBox — tasks, journal entries, photos, lists — remains yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, display, and process that content in order to run the service. We claim no ownership of it and will not use it for anything beyond providing FamilyBox, as described in our privacy policy.

You may optionally connect third-party services such as Google Calendar and Google Photos. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and you can disconnect them from FamilyBox at any time.

Don't use FamilyBox to store or share unlawful content, to attempt to access other families' data, or to interfere with the operation or security of the service.

FamilyBox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free service, is zero).

You may stop using FamilyBox and request deletion of your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, with notice where practical.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
